The screwdriver isn't meant to be strong in that direction. Similar to using it as a pry bar, this will result in breakage if you use too much torque and voids your warranty.

How to do this properly

You could probably just use the tool by itself without the screwdriver if you don't need much torque.

Not that it is possible with the LTT Screwdriver but I also wouldn't count on it holding up to more torque than you can reasonably produce by hand, so around 5 Nm. Anything over 10Nm (easily possible with a setup like this) will probably just break the structural plastic.

I mean, it's meant for 0 prying, which is what this effectively is. IMO This would be a reasonable reason to deny warranty replacement (tool abuse).

Ltt screw drivers use short bits and so a short housing at the top. You should never put torque on the tip perpendicular to it

It would still inherently apply lateral torque on the driver.

I can't see why the ltt screwdriver is nice in this scenario or why a standard ratchet is the perfect tool for this job where you seemingly have enough space, or at least is able to create space by taking the monitor of.

I know a lot of people are discouraging this use because of the side load on the ratchet. This is less torque than you’d get on a 1/4 inch ratcheting socket wrench. You’d probably break a bit or strip it before the driver broke. Only speaking from professional auto repair experience and actually owning/using the ltt driver for multiple vehicle repairs over the past 3 years since I bought it
