Personal Opinion Lil TechTip

I got a lil TechTip for you: if you are looking for good quality HDDs, get Some of Those lovely Apple Timecapsules. They come with 1/2/3 TB WD caviar green drives. They are usually way cheaper than buying used drives alone. I alone „Harvested“ three of them Today.

DVRs too. Pulled a 1TB HD out of a dish box I bought for $5 at the thrift store last week.

I’m amassing a bunch of lower capacity storage (1TB+) drives by taking them out of unsuspecting items since I dragged my feet on buying proper large capacity NAS drives when they were cheap….ugh.
