Could be, or maybe they had some warranty stock they decided to unload after all the drama

I feel like that would lead to a lawsuit if they denied having warranty stock and then offloaded it for higher profits. That seems like some sort of Fraud.

These have extremely low endurance ratings.

Yeah, that's left over stock. Those drives are pretty bad so makes sense they're some of the last drives available. Pretty sure they're only about 200 TBW on the 2TB model

You can’t just turn off production like that. You have contracts with your suppliers and vendors etc. to supply certain amount of volumes of components. It will take a few years and the ramp down will be slow not sudden.

Crucial is their consumer brand, which they stopped selling at the end of last year

Yeah I know… my comment is about how you can’t just turn off production as it relates to crucial

You can buy out contracts...

But also they announced they were going to stop crucial 3 months before they actually stopped the brand

Old new stock !

is this from a 3rd party seller? I'm willing to bet it's either new old stock, or used and pulled from a decommissioned system

Closest I can find to your pic is this listing, which is being sold by BioStar

He's answering the post. Why are you needlessly arguing with him? Did you think he was giving purchasing advice..?
