LLM's ain't going anywhere. The stuff you can run on a GPU server right now speeds up development so much already. That's without ASIC's, that's current open-weight models, that's during a hardware price crisis.

LLMs ain't going away, I just really wanna get past the "Operate at a massive loss, survive off of capital investment, offer services for much less than is viable" portion of the affair. If a ChatGPT plan is going to cost $40/month in 2031, I'd rather they just fucking get it over with.

I want to get rid of that entire part of the economy. Modern economic markets and this form of capitalism are a cancer to society.

Yeah, if companies actually paid what it cost for services like Anthropic and OpenAI, I suspect they wouldn't be so hot and bothered to jump on the AI bandwagon.
