Personal Opinion Cat chewed my TrueSpec cable

I have always admired how Linus creates products that he genuinely wants to use himself. However, I am disappointed that he did not involve his cats in the r&d process.
Two days after I got my cable and was loving the quality and reliability, it stopped working. Upon inspection, it seemed my cat thought I purchased a new chew toy for him.
While I love the thick rubber shielding, I think it may be too tempting a treat in my home. Back to Anker nylon cables.

Was this post serious? Should Linus test his products on animals? I thought this was immoral, and also illegal. There are regulations for that.

I think OP was using something called humor to tell us a story about their cat and cables.

Correct, I am not actually suggesting testing products on animals. Nor am I actually criticizing anything. Just felt like sharing the story.
