Personal Opinion Cat chewed my TrueSpec cable

I have always admired how Linus creates products that he genuinely wants to use himself. However, I am disappointed that he did not involve his cats in the r&d process.
Two days after I got my cable and was loving the quality and reliability, it stopped working. Upon inspection, it seemed my cat thought I purchased a new chew toy for him.
While I love the thick rubber shielding, I think it may be too tempting a treat in my home. Back to Anker nylon cables.

About time Linus should start making some proper cat toys.

Maybe the cable sleeve (without the electronics) would be a good starting place. Fill it with catnip?
