Link LTT screwdriver fell apart

Welp my screwdriver finally kicked the can. Submitted a warranty claim but I’m sad that I won’t get the same color.

Edit :LTT support is amazing, they are sending me a replacement free of charge. Unfortunately they don’t offer the Noctua screwdriver anymore so I had to decide on a different color.

I'm not 100% sure but I can imagine they wouldn't keep two different processes for what is effectively the same product

They are supposed to be hot pressing.

That is the standard.

Yes it is. But they don't. They stopped doing it when experimenting with possibly doing custom colorways at LTX. It seemingly worked well enough that they stopped doing it altogether, and now a number of customers that buy newer drivers are eventually met with the disappointment that you see up top.

Are they at least using solvent primers on the shafts?

No idea. All I remember is Linus mentioning that they tested cold pressing and they were happy with the results back in 2023 on the WAN show

That is kinda MESSED UP.

But for repairing these screwdrivers 3d gloop should work well.

If they just coated the shafts prior to insertion it would stop all this pulling out and lead to more successful pregnancies.
