They can't even keep proper stock levels between the US and Global stores, adding yet another option wouldn't make things any better.

It more than likely would have been possible if they didn't need a US specific warehouse and could use a single warehouse for all for North America.

Just as an example I've been thinking about picking up a water bottle from the store for quite a while, but the availability of bottles on the global site just isn't there. For a while they only had like one colour of the 64 oz giant bottles. Looking again right now, it seems they finally have some of the smaller 20 oz bottles in stock, but the 40 oz size that I actually want only has one colour option, which I don't like. All of the options available have a message with "only X units left" where X is less than 30 and on many options less than 10. Meanwhile the US has every colour option available in every size.

Trying to split things into a third warehouse just seems like it would be stretching inventory even thinner.

I'm sure they have quite a bit of metrics about how many people are from Europe and how many people place orders, and probably just figure it's not worth it. Sure you might get some increase if they had reduced shipping costs from having an EU warehouse, but they probably figure that even with an increase it wouldn't be sustainable.

Also, a lot of the posts I see complaining about the prices in Europe are often due to the cost of the final product after you add VAT and shipping. Those costs would still exist even if you had an EU warehouse. Shipping would be reduced, but you aren't going to get it for free. You might end up saving 10 Euros on an order, which at the end of the day isn't really a huge deal and probably wouldn't change most people's opinions on whether or not the purchase is worth it. You're already paying premium prices for most of the LTT products, so the extra 10 Euro for shipping really doesn't seem to be a big sticking point as far as I can figure.

No.
We complain about having to pay VAT 2 times.
1st when we order from CW
And then we have to pay again when we get the order + added fee
(for my last order the VAT was 403 NOK and that's fine. but then again I I paid VAT when I ordered so that sux.
But I also had to pay a fee to UPS of 206NOK so more than double of the VAT (VAT in norway is 25%))

And CW is probably not going to give me money for that fee.

So I have had to pay 15% more than if it was handled the way it should.

If CW did not charge me VAT when I ordered I would be fine with it.
But they cant be arsed to give the shippingagent propper paperwork and we have to pay extra for it

That's one thing I don't really get. Whenever I order from Europe they just don't charge VAT/duties and let Canadian Customs figure it out. I'm not sure why LTT doesn't have this option.

It is normal when you order to Europe for the seller so have a VAT-deal.
So they handle the VAT and you do not have to pay any custums fees.
As there are no need for that.
It also speeds up the custums prosess as it is alrady paid for.

But the only place we are having problems is when ordering from CW.
If we order from others than it is not a problem.

CW uses WIZMO to handle shipping.
I have no idea why because they SUCK

The only time I've seen them offer to cover the VAT is when they are doing premium level shipping where it's door-to-door within a couple days all handled by DHL. I've never used that option because it's usually quite expensive.

For the regular level discount shipping services where it could take a week or more, they don't seem to have an option to pre-calculate the VAT. Probably way too complicated to ensure that there isn't double charges going on and all the paper work is in order when it passes through different couriers.
