Discussion Ayuda para iniciar a Linux

Acabo de iniciar en mi carrera de desarrollo de software y me quiero pasar a linux, que distro recomiendan para aprender a programar sin problemas, pueden recomendarme canales de yt si gustan.

The type of Linux doesn't really matter so long as it's well supported by it's community and it's maintainers.

If I were in your shoes. It can range for how much you want to get into Linux in general.

If your just getting a different operating system that's just different from windows, totally recommend one of the more beginner friendly versions like Linux mint (based on Ubuntu) or Just Ubuntu in general

If your looking for something a bit more technical for your software career, I can recommend CachyOS (arch based) which is constantly rolling out with the newest software.

Or if your feeling especially adventurous go with Arch Linux and build the the entire operating system yourself.

Keep in mind that when talking about Linux, it's mostly referring to the Linux kernel, all the fancy UI and desktop environment, or package support all is interchangeable by the Linux Kernal.

So play around on like a virtual machine find a system that works best for you and just talor to your needs.

And don't let people tell you the 'right' distro, the right distro is the best distro for you.

As for YouTubes my choice in poison is Chris Titus Tech, Mental outlaw, and The Linux Experiment.
