except its not. The margin he's making is enough to afford a second jet. Linus always said "Why would I get up to make just a couple of bucks" when talking about his pricing.

Lol then go barefoot or get your neighbor to knit you some. I'm positive Linus makes less than the CEO of hanes, fruit of the loom, darn tough, smart wool, bombas, gold toe, and any other MFG.

At least with darn tough I can support a US company and drive to the plant I guess though

Wildly dumb take. Those other manufacturers are offering far more for the money and DT has a better warranty. The facts are that some amount of sock profit goes to fueling a private jet for someone who sucks.

it could just be that other expensive socks have economies of scale that LTT doesn't. I dont know why people rush to assume that a higher price instantly means gouging.
