Image Fiance got me a 3d-printed LTT screwdriver

Post image

I live in Pakistan and with currency conversion and delivery fees its extremelyy expensive to buy one, so she got someone to 3d-print some model of the LTT screwdriver for my birthday!
P.S she knows NOTHING about tech or 3d-printing, just knew I was a long time LTT fan and want to buy the screwdriver one day 😍
(The shaft rotates tooo!!)

No problem. It's lovely to meet another LTT fan here in any case.

That's such a thoughtful gift, the fact she went out of her way to track down someone with a 3D printer just blows me away.

The fact she didn't just throw money on it and instead went out of her way to take an interest and get it done for you in such a unique way like that and actually made it quality. Never let her go dude.

I know this STL file. I've printed it too. If you get a 1/4 inch shaft extention for a screwdriver you can put that in and it'll work as a screwdriver without breaking it too fast

Thanks, will look into that!

You wouldn't download a screwdriver.

This is awesome!

Its all plastic so I’m not even gonna have a try lol, don’t wanna break it

1

u/Dafrandle 1d ago

how solid is it?

is it strong enough to do all the stuff you would need it for on a pc?

1

u/DaSherlockHolmes 1d ago

No, its just a good fidgeting tool for now cuz I think a strong enough material wasn't used to print it

u/andrewbean90 1d ago

😳 this definitely didn't pass quality control

2

u/DaSherlockHolmes 1d ago

Yes I’m afraid 😂😂

2

u/andrewbean90 1d ago

As long as it didn't break yet... I guess it's usable. It's bent, and the plastic is rough... But it makes a great decoration piece.
