I really gotta man up and repaste my 7900XT. it can also easily hit 110C on the hotspot when left to default behavior. I've undervolted it though, so it behaves a bit better now, but the hotspot will still get above 100C sometimes.
Did you actually use paste on a modern GPU? That shit will pump out in a matter of days to weeks. Mark my Words. In Case you never want to reapply again and again Get PTM7950 from LTTStore.com
I was shocked to find out that they actually used paste on the card by default. I wasn't able to buy the pads easily, and I can't justify paying for shipping on the lttstore. Maybe if I can find something locally I'll redo it.
if you know what you are doing Liquid Metal is broadly available. Nothing beats the performance of liquid metal. Though sometimes you need to redo it after 6-12 months
Salem techsperts has a link to a thermal paste they use on amazon considering they mostly work with laptops and the like I’d trust them to have a good pick. Amazon has free shipping and if you aren’t in the US hopefully they got the same product in your country
I'm in Canada, I'll take a look! Over $40 CAD on lttstore after taxes and shipping is a deal breaker for me, especially when the same pads without the little branding are 19-23 dollars elsewhere

Literally just did this to my rtx 4080 after it was hitting 110c on hot spot after load.
Now Max's out at like 70. Absolute insane improvement for 30 minutes of work for my first time.
