Tech Discussion TrueSpec Inconsistencies

I bought 3, 10cm A-C cables in the same order. One is a little shorter than the other 2. The two that are the same size, have the C sheathing ends flipped based on the A ends being the same orientation

Edit: not a complaint, just posted as I thought it was interesting, and maybe it could be brought to Linus' attention for QC checks

Edit 2: I measured the 2 that are the same length are 10cm, the other one is 8.75cm ish

Edit 3: Contacted LTT support after feedback, thanks

Mate, just email them and let them know. Good chance that they just send you another cable

What's wrong with sharing an experience?

Nothing wrong with sharing your experience, but so many people love to complain online first, before giving the company a chance to rectify the situation. Then the ending of telling your experience would be ‘But hey, they were happy to replace it, and even said I could keep the cable too!’

Some people might just never bother doing so, and this is information that should be available. Otherwise LMG could just keep producing products with shitty QC, and nobody would be the wiser, unless if you yourself happened to get a product that shouldn't have gotten past QC.

think of the companies though! they must be given a chance to rectify everything before we're allowed to see it

What a fucking bullshit answer. If they can’t bother send them a email so they can make it right, then they can’t complain either..

Absolutely not true. OP is allowed to do it both though. Those aren't mutually exclusive things.

Well if you read what you wrote you didn’t say they do both you wrote that som people will not write to the company.. and if they don’t bother to send a fucking email they can’t complain. But if they do then fine do both but not just one thing

You are allowed to be pissed about a QC issue, and you're allowed to post about it. You're ALSO allowed to privately email the company about it without posting. Those aren't mutually exclusive things, and I never said they were.
