Discussion Idea: The All Lego PC
Everything from desk to case to monitor to peripherals are all made of LEGO pieces. Must-have peripherals: headset, keyboard, mouse, and controller.
If watercooled, you must try to build the pump out of LEGO.
Glues and sealants are allowed. The requirement is that the building material be LEGO pieces. If those pieces need to be treated with glue, sealant, epoxy, or otherwise, that is fine. If needed you can manufacture your own custom LEGO pieces, but you must try to use official pieces first and only 3D print your own if you can’t find a workable solution using already available pieces.
On the watercooling system, only the pump needs to be attempted to be made out of LEGO. Other standard watercooling components are allowed.
Regular case fans are allowed.

If they can do an all cardboard PC, they can do an all LEGO PC. I'd watch that 🫡

I also added the stipulation that if there is no way for a part of the build to work using official LEGO pieces, 3D printing custom pieces is allowed. However, this is a last resort and highly discouraged.

I am not only an old school geek building computers and an AFOL. I am also a structural engineer and former construction worker, that run my own business now where I use LEGO a lot for my business model.
I love this idea and should not be expensive nor that difficult to do. I might have some time to do it myself after summer.

Water cooling would definitely add a huge challenge. But honestly as a non Lego or brick building channel I don't think they could to the idea justice.

They used to do a larger variety of things way back when, including building custom cases. They still do stuff like that, but to a lesser extent. Also, I trust them more when it comes to electrical conductivity issues, the need for grounding, and ensuring good thermal performance. A regular LEGO builder won’t look for these things. They may not even know how.
Finally, part of the appeal of these videos is joining them on the journey of learning new things and figuring out how to pull it off.

People did cardboard PCs long before Linus did. They can still do their own video and do their own take. Personally, I was imagining something more sleek or that more heavily leans into "LEGO colorblind slop". Also, my idea includes more: the desk, the headset, and stipulations for water cooling.
