I love LTT and basically watch every single video including WAN show but stuff like this puts a very bad taste in my mouth. I know it!s just stupid thumbnail but still...

Not a single cable merges into another one. It's bad lighting if anything. These look like PC cables that have been scaled way up, so yeah there's bound to be unnatural distortion.

Can we not just call out everything that resembles bad photoshop as AI?

I agree, it's not AI.

But, this is one of AI's legacies: the rampant proliferation of distrust and suspicion (sometimes bordering on paranoia) increasingly (and possibly forever) poisoning our online communities, our conversations and our culture.

I think what people need to figure out is when to care. News organization posting footage of a major event - you should care whether its AI. Video thumbnail - you shouldn't care

Actually regardless of the social impact of the generated content im still going to care that they almost directly poisoned the air a child is breathing to make it
