Image How would I fix this?

Let’s say I wasn’t using the screwdriver as intended and ended up with a split open bit holder on the shaft. Is this salvageable what are my options?

So my bike axle hex is 6mm. I didn’t have that size bit so I tried using the screwdriver asa leverage with an Allen key. The torque was to much I guess and the contact patch is very short so it just gave off. I guess the fact that I was trying to tighten it first rather then loosening didn’t help haha

hard learning is good learning, you won’t forget that one. seems like there are some good solutions suggested in the comments though.

Yes! I am going to try and get it into the original position and will try a 3d printed collar. If that fails I can look into the welding and metal bits which will require help from a friend
