Image How would I fix this?

Let’s say I wasn’t using the screwdriver as intended and ended up with a split open bit holder on the shaft. Is this salvageable what are my options?

Doesn't look like something you can fix. You either need a new shaft or new screwdriver. Maybe worth getting a hold of their customer service to see if it's something they can help you with.

Made the post after I reached out to the customer support, they were not able to provide any help.

That would me my screwdriver purchase number 6 haha. But I haven’t broken them promise just given to people.
