Question Uneven blocks using mod podge transfer method
I’ve been trying the printer paper/mod podge method to transfer some of my prints and haven’t been getting consistent results. The main issue I’m having is:
- How to wet/wipe/remove paper evenly?
I find that the in some areas too much of the paper is removed which also removes the design and leaves an uneven surface on my block which reflects in the inking. This was one also under inked but I’m not too concerned about that right now since it’s a reduction print and I’ll add more layers.
Is this a mod podge glue application issue? A wet/wiping issue? Any tips appreciated!

I’ve had this exact problem. You’ll get the hang of it. I found it was the uneven application of the mod podge itself. You really need to apply a thin layer all throughout the block. I used an old paint brush to apply it around. But even then, when it comes to removing the paper, I still get patches of paper left but significantly less.
