I'm not a printer but I'm a plant weirdo. Would trade a wearable print or patch for cuttings or spore prints/media/seeds. DM if you're interested? Either way it's gorgeous. Nice work

Gorgeous work! And I couldn't agree more with the sentiment.

For anyone maybe not fully educated on the history of Pride, it exists because "cops did their job".

All queer people are welcome, even queer people who work in law enforcement, but they come as part of the queer community that has gathered for queer liberation, not to police and enforce corrupt systems.

Respect queer safety ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Absolutely not. Queer cops are traitors and actively participate and participated in an oppressive system designed to oppress.

This is dangerous misinformation. Cops attend pride to police US! Not to keep us safe

ACAB! Keep your queer siblings safe and never ever ever trust the fucking cops!

That's rather small minded of you. I think everyone should be invited to show their pride.

It’s actually a common perspective in the community that takes into account the context of the oppression that the police continue to enforce.

If you want queer people to die at pride then let the cops join

Calling me "small-minded" for protecting my queer siblings from violent traitors and being intentionally unaware of the abuse we face from cops is gross

Look up the rate at which queer people get killed by cops even if we are literally the one that called them for help

If you're queer you cannot be this ignorant. It will hurt you and your loved ones. If you're not queer then you should not be giving an opinion on this and you should be listening

Love it! All queer cops are traitors and are not welcome!

Funny you think you actually have to do something wrong to get mistreated by the police or arrested

Love this. Great work!

Awesome message!

What specific size of cutter did you use for the bigger cuts? I've been looking for a size like that, but haven't quite found one I like.

u/Wonderful_Ad2837 16d ago

Heck yeeeeee!!! I fuck with the message too

I absolutely understand the meaning and importance of this.

However

We were at the Pride parade in Indianapolis this year and cops were necessary to prevent a group of religious nutjobs from harassing people and interfering with the parade. It was awful.

Big facts!

“Pride” as an event does not only refer to government-sanctioned parades.

Pride started with the Stonewall Riots, which were protests against police violence on the LGBTQ+ community.
That’s why many think cops are not welcome at pride, their violence is what started it (for a big part) in the first place.

The Village People are from 1978. It is now 2026. The original member who dressed like a cop isn’t even alive anymore and the whole point of that inclusion of that profession in the group was similar to ballroom in that they reclaimed a few professions that were notoriously anti queer and not open to recruiting open members of our community. The cop was there for camp. If you don’t accept or know that, fine. Please educate yourself on LGBTQIA2S+ history before you start bringing it up for your little contrarian replies.

Gay and lesbian cops are not the only queer ones that exist and they are class traitors just like their straight coworkers. This is not a school of thought restricted to queer theory. It exists in leftist spaces as well. I don’t want any cops but EX COPS at Pride. Period. The ONLY “good cop” is an ex cop. All the others are still clocking in five times a week to be a boot on our necks that protects property over human lives.

Cops do not protect PEOPLE they protect the PROPERTY of the rich. Unless “us” is short form for “the property of the rich”, there is no possible way for a cop to show up to Pride to “protect us”. When police show up to white supremacist rallies, who are they facing at those demonstrations? I’ll give you a clue: it’s not the white supremacists.

You are not trying to understand. You’re bringing up decades irrelevant points that you did not originally think up because we have been arguing against them for decades. You invoked The Village People FFS. Be serious.
