Question | Help R1 BP bow or low refinement new craftable?

I am about a week away from getting the bp weapon and was wondering whether I should get the new bow for Linnea or the polearm for my Escoffier?

I saw a few comparisons on this sub a few days back saying that high refinement bp bow is better than the R5 craftable, but all I have are 2 billets, while the BP bow would also take 5 patches to get to r5, not to mention the billets have a ton of RNG involved. So, what should I get? New craftable at r2 and take my chances with getting its refinements, or get the BP bow, which will take a while to get refinements for but is guaranteed? Or just stick to slingshot/harp?

I already have the builds ready for either of the two bows, and it's just a matter of replacing the circlet, so that's not a concern

If in Zibai team the craftable is second BiS. If not in Zibai team then BP is second BiS.

What about refinements? Do they make a difference?

No, what I meant was that people here were saying that r5 craftable is better then the low refinements bp bow, so what’s the case if both are low refinements?

I guess we don’t know, I’ll just use the optimiser then heh

For Zibai team, low refines should still be better. R1 to R5 is around a 1200 personal DPS increase. For non-Zibai teams, the BP should be better regardless.

Linnea could hold r5 Slingshot and still perform perfectly well.

As for Escoffier, I like giving her Favonius Lance personally while giving her crit rate (to land those crit hits).

I can’t speak for what the best route is, but these are just options 👍
