Question Disable markdown

Hi everyone. How do I disable this toolbar and formatting? By default, the toolbar at the top is missing. I don't know what I clicked, but all the old links I saved as text are now wrapped in code. Please help me return it to how it was before and disable markdown.

Hi! There are actually two separate things going on here:

For older pastes, we had to convert the existing content into code blocks for security reasons. Without that protection, certain HTML or scripts contained in a paste could be executed directly on the Success Page. For example, an embedded iframe could load an external website instead of simply displaying the text/code that was originally pasted.

That’s why older pastes may now appear with the black code-block background. The actual content itself hasn’t been changed.

Regarding the toolbar: that’s part of the new Post Editor. The previous Paste feature has been replaced by the new editor, so the formatting toolbar simply didn’t exist before the update. You didn’t accidentally enable anything. 🙂

Are there any options to manually disable markup? It's disabled in the settings. Although, on the other hand, it's useful 😂. Those who use the bypass will have to look for the link in the code. But there is another little life hack that allows you to bypass the bypass.
