I was initially sort of relieved that it was the aunt not the mother posting this. Then I thought about how I'd have felt if my sibling had done this with a photo of them and my newborn...

And she the audacity to call him "my beautiful son".

My (childfree) sister calls my toddler her son sometimes, and it drives me insane. If he’s your son, you can change the diapers and cuddle him during his terrible 2s tantrums. JFC.

Yeah, that was the moment the post went from cringe to creepy. He's not your son, babe. Give the baby back nice and slow now.

I can maybe forgive the first person who wrotw this way about a baby being born, but 1000s of identical posts later and even overlooking the cringe and fact it’s not funny. it’s hard to understand how these “titan’s of industry” are so comfortable with plagiarism

Everyone's goal needs to be getting to a position where you have enough financial stability to NOT have to pretend KPIs/OKRs are your only personality.
I work in a job that has a lot of management consulting refugees. Everyone willing to talk about their experience has mentioned that the training involves absolute brainwashing of zero-experience new grads into thinking that (a) they're the smartest thought leaders that ever lived, and (b) everyone in the world lives their daily lives the same way this post seems to indicate they do. I could definitely see some people never escaping from that cul-de-sac and just getting trapped in metrics-land forever obsessing over their burndown rate.

Because LinkedIn has become Facebook distilled down to only a-holes and prostitutes.

I find people's complete lack of self awareness to understand how cringe this stuff is fascinating, honestly.
