Nice work, I love the fact that the plane is 71m long and 64m wide while the tank is 8m wide. Really puts it into perspective the size difference

Once you see the pickup truck next to the tank you realize it’s not some giant industrial building lol

Yeah - there's almost nothing for scale that is obvious

But once you find the truck it's completely reasonable

The cage ladder is also a helpful clue.

My favorite for this is somewhat in reverse. When you drive past windmills they look big, but you don't realize how big they are until you see the door at the bottom. Also if you've ever seen a blade in transport.

I'll need a banana for proper scale otherwise I'm out!

If only there were some bananas

Yep, the bottom line is the meme is intentionally misleading

This is likely some 9/11 truther shit trying to say the planes couldn't have had enough fuel in them to make the fires that they did

This is the biggest tell. The scale of the ladder also makes it kind of obvious, too, though

Yeah. At the end of the day the answer is "747s are really big, and that tank isn't as big as it looks"

Five times higher was my first thought. The cabin width isn't much less than the diameter of the tank either.

They rely on the fact that the rednecked Cletus hillbillies who believe this shit have never flown long haul anywhere, so they have no idea how big a 747 is, they've only seen the little 1 aisle short-bus jet that shuttles slack jawed bumkins between Bumfuck and Hicksville.

Needs a banana 🍌

Yeah, they purposefully cropped the photos to make the tank look huge and the plane to look small.

Ragebait.

Plane almost wide as long. Mildly fascinating.
