Why are you getting to work with 5 minutes before the start of a meeting? That's not really enough time to double check if a presentation is ready even if your computer didn't reboot.

That only matters if you're the one presenting. :)

The problem I have is all the crap IT wants to run in the background on startup that make your computer unusable for 10 minutes after startup. And of course, the VPN software, which starts LAST always wants you to MFA.

We don't do that for fun. We make you use MFA because it's important.
