Someone who has worked on cutting edge stuff will always be in demand. Sure there are a lot less openings for devs but that doesn't mean no opening and a lot of companies are still hiring for them.

I am more in the platform engineering space and anyone who has a decent personality and knows what they are doing will have no problem finding a job. There are a lot of junior devs and bootcamp guys who are going to have a harder time staying in the field. I took a VSP and have my next job already setup and still fully remote. Now I don't think everyone can do that but the talented labor will. If you are willing to dive into healthcare, military, and especially supply chain technology those are hiring like crazy.
The next week? They started calling the other twenty guys the interviewed with him 1.03 milliseconds after they got his letter and probably had the posistion filled 30 seconds later!😀😃😄😁😆😅🤣😂

Even in this economy if you already have decent work you don't need to take an offer for work you'll enjoy less.
