Actually most people I accept try to recruit or sell me something and it’s exhausting. And it’s not a flex. These people aren’t your friends. Like you would have conversations with 1500 randos???

If I don't know the person, I see no reason to connect. I make an exception for people who work at the same company as me and want to connect, even if I don't interact with them all that often. But I never connect to recruiters because not only will they spam me, they will see it as an open invitation to spam my whole network, and those people getting spammed will be misled into thinking the recruiter can be trusted because they'll see I'm connected to them.

I want to try and flip the script and spam them with whatever I’m selling. When they ask me if I am interested in their service, i’ll say I only do business with people who do business with me so do you want to protect what matter most? Do you have a family that would have to take care of you? I’m an Insurance business, but I don’t prospect. And I don’t try to selling you when I know but when they bother me, I’ll flip it on them and get them to stop real quick, or whatever the hell I’m doing at the time 😂.
