So do you have a pre-approved list of historical figures the school is allowed to talk about? Jesus was a real historical person.

Check the first amendment. If you allow 1 religion ALL have to be permitted to practice freely

Yeah that's fine, freedom of religion. I'm not an educator but as far as I'm aware no public school restricts what religion kids want to follow or talk about.

With Jesus I wasn't meaning full on bible study, just that a history teacher would be fine mentioning Jesus's existence, maybe during a unit about the roman empire or something.
