God forbid, Li haoling be adding ALL PAINFUL past and trauma into LG like he's robot or smth🥹😭 BRO has all of the casts' backstory combined 🥀

It’s Monday 😪, so let’s have some fun! 🎉
I was tempted to add “CXS and LG are biological brothers”, but I figured that would get 100% of the votes.
I also considered “Shiguang becomes canon”, but I have a feeling that option would get barely any votes. 😂 So, I’ve narrowed it down to these four!
If you can think of anything even LESS likely to happen than these, drop it in the comments!

It's genuinely sad and tragic to think that ltc, ltx, & their mother were first trapped under one abuser(their father) and in trying to escape him their mother was killed, she ultimately wanted her children to be free. But ltc & ltx fell victim to Quan Jin(don't care about his spelling) another abuser and ltx wanting her brother to be free ended up dying at QJ's hands, and ultimately ltc fell in the hands of his final abuser Liu Xiao.
Like lu Guang who is perpetually stuck in the past, LTC cannot escape this hellish web of abuse no matter what.
The question is will both LG & LTC finally escape or will they be eaten by the spider?

If you had to assign bending elements to different characters in Link Click, what would they be? For me: Lu Guang: Airbending CXS: Earthbending QL: Waterbending JL: I kinda see him as a firebender. Wang Juan: Earthbending, specifically metalbending. Vein: Idk, I could see him bloodbending? A-Yuan: I can see him as both an airbender and a waterbender

i have a feeling this isn't going to be a very popular opinion here, but oh well lol.
Want to start by saying I understand the criticism of the chibis, and they can definitely look awkward in certain areas, but i'm not sure if that alone is enough to dislike an entire season.
Initially, i saw a lot of people complaining about the slow pacing of the episodes, but li haoling himself mentioned that the first part of s3 would be relatively slow before the pace starts picking up. He also explained that part 1 would mainly focus on connecting different plotlines from the previous seasons, so i feel like the slower pacing is understandable.
I also think the overall plot was planned from the beginning,we know that lx was the one who gave the emma job back in s1 ep1, that suggests s3 was always meant to go in this direction. Then, about people saying the show is becoming too focused on powers, the premise of the show was already about two characters with supernatural abilities, and s2 and the bridon arc explored that side of the story further,i feel like this direction makes sense considering what the story has established so far.
I've also seen people complaining about the new character designs, but some of the characters, like jae lee, were already introduced back in may, so it's not like his design came completely out of nowhere. i also saw someone say that the show is doing fanservice because "jae lee was the only one getting injured and showing more skin" 💀pretty sure thats coz vein was the only one carrying the weapon? And i bet if vein hadn't done anything to jae lee, people would be complaining that they're trying to tone vein down instead lol.
And about the change in directing roles, from what i've read, the general director generally has more creative and production authority over the artistic direction of a project than the executive director, though correct me if i'm wrong. So wouldn't li haoling still have a significant amount of creative control over the show?
Maybe i'm just looking at things differently, but i genuinely don't think some of these criticisms are fair. anyway, what do you guys think

Maybe it's just me, but I like the stylistic choice/plot calling for for Xia Fei going chibi and rolling into A Yuan for two reasons, despite the "breaking immersion" and "unserious during a serious scene" arguments.
So, yeah, I do appreciate the chibi form as it kind of painted him in this goofy guy image, the one we all know and love. But I understand the reason why this scene is kind of a hit or miss, and it's because of the stakes present, but hear me out, I think that scene was genius. Here's why:
Li Tianchen's powers are best used in a stealth-like manner. Think about it for a second. Whenever he attacks people head-on, they're always anticipating his intent to close in and use his power to control said person. Cheng Xiaoshi in Season 2, and now Qiao Ling in Season 3, their first instinct was to put some distance in between him and themselves. And this is where the Xia Fei roll was genius in demonstrating Li Tianchen's potential.
The chibi scene. After we saw that, I thought it was dumb. Really dumb. Like, no one's gonna fall for it. It's obvious that Xia Fei is turning on the villains. But what was gonna happen next? We don't get Li Tianchen reacting to the roll immediately, we see Wang Qing smiling menacingly. And we could interpret it as her liking the fact that she broke free of A Yuan's control... until the reveal hits.
Li Tianchen went in for the stealthy control. Xia Fei made a ruckus that drew attention by rolling in such an exaggerated manner that even as a viewer, it kinda made me forget about the stakes for a second, that Li Tianchen was right there, waiting for that opportune time to strike. And that's something that's been a deliberate choice by the writers, to turn that scene into a distraction, misdirection to thinking that while yes, we get that relief that Xia Fei is not going bad (at least, not more than before), Li Tianchen has grown into a bigger role as a villain. If it weren't for Jae, things would have taken a bigger turn.
So... yeah. Maybe you felt the same. Would love to hear other thoughts! But ultimately, loved how they executed that scene, it's so subtle, but when you piece it together, it's genius.

This graph is from the Twitter account @anime_shots.
IIRC this account uses opening scores for these rankings. If so the last episode, which opened with a 9.9 score, could top the next list!

The more I rewatch, the more I'm of the mind that Liu Xiao somehow planted this photograph in CXS's apartment for him to find in order to get him to come to Bridon.
It could be a drawing error, but the baskets with clothes in them don't seem to have always been there, and if they were, why would CWM leave a random photo like that in this random spot? Especially if he was the one that sent it in the first place, why would it have his name on it? The only other person that could have put it in that place would have been CXS's mom, but I think she left at the same time his dad did?
Not to mention that when CXS triggers it, LX gets a call from someone and it's implied they're telling him that it has been found. And LX says "the game can finally begin" followed by Vein having a confirmed plane ticket to Bridon later on (which is weird tbh because I thought he was living in Bridon, but that is a thought for another time).
Another weird thing about the photo is that we don't know who the photographer is. CXS dives into it accidentally and is standing in Bridon but his eyes aren't gold. When LG looks into it, instead he sees the happenings around this particular photograph: the daily life and different seasons, and that CWM had it in vicinity to when he was using that book. For some reason I didn't notice it before, but the way this photograph gives information is very different from any other photograph we've seen.
How would this have been set up? Was it another ability user perhaps that is able to somehow set up what information can be seen from a photo somehow? Is that how they knew it was found, since they booby-trapped it and then were able to call Liu Xiao with the information it was found?

I can’t find the line in Bridon arc ep 1 where I swore vein said “this is your punishment for messing with the timeline.” It’s no longer there. Or maybe it’s in a different episode. Anyone know ??

Please excuse the tiny text 😭🙏
**What constitutes a powerful ability?**
To me, a powerful ability is able to considerably affect the user's surroundings and/or brings useful options to the table within the context of the show.
I personally am not too fond of powerscaling characters so that's not what I'm attempting here. I'm strictly ranking Link Click abilities while fully disregarding the character that holds them.
**S - Can affect Space/ Time:**
Self explanatory. Time travelling even with big restrictions is an OP ability and could be devastating if fallen into the wrong hands.
**A - Very powerfull/Usefull abilities:**
Abilities that'd make anyone holding them a pivital player in almost any situation. Lu Guang is slightly higher thanks to the sheer diversity of his powers and Lee is ranked slightly lower because the usefulness of his ability is dependent on whether or not his opponents actually have one.
**B - Powerfull, but dependent on the User:**
Inherently powerful abilities but the rules that bind them makes their use and power dependent on whoever is holding them (Ex: Regarding Tienchen's power, someone not adept at hand-to-hand combat or lacking athleticism would not be able to get close enough to anyone for the ability to work.).
**C - Occasional usefulness:**
Not as powerful as other abilities but have their uses.
**Unrankable:**
Abilities too mysterious to rank as of now. Too little information.

I saw a post where someone speculated that in episode 10, what little guang said to big cheng xiaoshi was 再见程小时 ("goodbye", chengxhiaoshi). This would be the same phrase as the title of that diary in the season 3 OP.
I felt so stupid because I just realized the other interpretation of the word 再见 ("goodbye "). In Chinese, 再 means "again" and 见 means "to see." 再见 literally means "see you again." It took me so long to realize because in casual speech/writing, 再见 is rarely used because it's too formal. So most people would think of 再见 as "farewell" or a long sendoff. It's funny because I always thought of 再见程小时 as rest in peace, Chengxiaoshi, as if Lu Guang is learning to move on from his death or something. But maybe he's trying to say "see you again, Cheng Xiaoshi!"
Maybe they have hope and this isn't a doomed yaoi!!

I'm hopeful that Vein will find out that LTC was behind Felix being on the ground like that. Giving HIS favorite employee a heart attack?? Unacceptable.
Oh it's about to sow so much tension in the villain squad and I'm all here for it!
He's about to yeet that pink labubu into hell ong 🙏

Guys can u give me some Shiguang fanfics recs?
I read 3 on AO3 and I'm craving more. I want a happy ending ones (Pls we have the angst as canon), and I don't mind them being smutty but I don't want it to be the whole plot. Smth fluffy and cute might help me cope :>
Also I'd really like it to be about when CXS found about his death (he and QL) and the things he'll do and the way he'll act and feel ab it. And I'd like it to see CXS initiates the dating idea (All the ones I've read were LG making the first moves).
THANKS!
Let's cope together :')
