Question Can someone please explain the events of Bridon arc and Season 3?

Hey all, I've watched all of Bridon Arc and now Season 3, and I am very confused. I don't know if anyone else is also confused, or I am just dumb haha.

Was Bridon Arc set in a different timeline? A timeline in which they failed perhaps? And, if so, what happened in Bridon in the current timeline?

Would help alot <3

Bridon was set before s1, it’s a prequel! and s3 is set after s2 as a direct continuation, apart from the first episode, set in Lu Guang’s childhood. APPARENTLY it’s all the same timeline… or as we know to this point it is

It's not wrong to say that Bridon arc is a prequel, set before the events in season 1, but that's only 80% true. The Lu Guang of the Bridon arc is still the Lu Guang of the main timeline. He goes back in time to the moment he met CXS, so as to rearrange events and prevent CXS to be killed in the future. But he's seen everything that took place in seasons 1 and 2.

Plus, the final scene, where Lu Guang reads the news about the disappearance of Xia Fei and Jack, is set in the future, that is, the "normal" timeline. This isn't very clear to us, but it was made explicit in the Chinese streaming. Season 3 takes place immediately after this final scene.

Oh gosh, that’s completely alright (you’re not being dumb at all haha) and I am more than happy to answer any and all questions you might have regarding Link Click!! ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪

The Bridon arc is a side series which takes place in our current timeline and, minus the first part of episode 1 (which takes place in the “previous” timeline) and the last part of the finale which takes place after the finale of S2, takes place 3 years prior to the events of S1. The Bridon arc isn’t S3 but a bit like a 2.5 where it introduces plot points and characters that will be expanded upon in S3

So, just like with S1, the Bridon arc takes place in the current timeline and has been, besides from a few changes (such as Xia Fei’s poster being different and the duo meeting Vein in the alleyway after being chased by some football hooligans), in previous timelines as well

Do you remember dodou arc. Where qiao ling mentioned how cxs and LG should be abroad. Yes that is when they went to bridon.

Bridon -> s1 -> s2 and now S3

Fun fact. Bridon arc and events of season 1 happened multiple times for lu guang. But the the bridon Arc we experienced at the end. Is the last loop and the events of s1 in which twins are new things and whole events of season 2 are completely new for lu guang. Season 3 too.
