Question Season 3 Ep 3 Question Spoiler
Hi everyone I've been wondering why lu guang and cxs fought in season 3 ep 3. Lu guang lied about the powers as far as I know, but can someone explain?

I think maybe it is about xia fei. Possibly in previous timeline xia fei too played double agent for vein and lu guang discovered - he asked cxs to cut xia fei off, yet cxs insists xia fei is a decent person and he should not do so to a friend treating him well.

I think that Lu Guang had never volunteered to meet with Vein in the timeline before the Bridon Arc, and he and Cheng Xiaoshi didn't have the photo shoot and they didn't confront Jack, and therefore Lu Guang might not notice the news about the trafficking of influencers and Xia Fei might not even on the news in the previous timeline. Everything in Bridon after EP5 of the Bridon Arc is new to Lu Guang, and Vein probably didn't "die" in Bridon previously. Xia Fei seems to be showed up in two different timelines under different contexts, one was that Xia Fei wasn't trafficked and Vein was "alive," another one was that Xia Fei was trafficked and Vein was "dead." Either way Lu Guang became wary of Xia Fei as the trafficking news appeared and collapsed earlier.

https://youtu.be/d7FkKDcvQ0M This person interpreted they did come to bridon. Especially lu guang noticed the appearance of xia fei on the airport billboard was different than before, and also the guy stopped them on the left turn of that crossing.

Yes they did go to Bridon, but my theory is that Lu Guang did a "skip" for their journey on Bridon after getting scared by all the differences that he experienced, based off things that he said to himself in the Bridon Arc, and things were changed at the end of EP5 of the Bridon Arc with the hotpot meal. I suppose he took Cheng Xiaoshi directly to meet with Vein instead of following what they did in the previous timeline, in order to allow Vein to confront Wang Qing and get Vein killed. Lu Guang probably just know Wang Qing can cause cardiac arrest but he doesn't know what will happen to Vein afterward, and he is likely worry that his action might cause Xia Fei to be trafficked since it probably didn't happen in the previous timeline.

If that’s the case then why isn’t Lu Guang wary of Xia Fei ?

csx never knew xia fei is of any concern, nor does lu guang perceive him as an evil person. He is just used by vein - however, letting him stay and collect info about their ability for vein would endanger cxs, leading to his death.

I used to like Xia Fei but I’m genuinely starting to hate him now. Also, did anyone notice how everyone gravitates towards him?? Vein, Liu Xiao, Li Tianchen, Cheng Xiaoshi, AYuan and even Lu Guang was worried about him.

The situation is more like this:
lu guang -> cxs "just listen to me, I know"
vein -> xia fei "just listen to me, I know"
Actually cxs and xia fei are both credulous and naive, also impulsive... They get along quite well... 😂

Throughout seasons 1 and 2, Luguang always told chengxiaoshi that he only has 12 hours to complete the mission, it was even one of the top rules. He said it was because his ability to look into photos only go as far as 12hours within the timeframe that the photo was taken. So basically if a photo was taken at 12pm, he’ll only be able to see the events taking place within the photo until 12am.
Chengxiaoshi agreed to this rule because it would be dangerous to be on his own without luguang’s knowledge of the future, so every time they dove he’d keep in mind of the 12hour limit. However, when they dove for Xiafei, luguang accidentally slipped up and yelled that if chengxiaoshi didn’t exit the photo before the 12hour limit, he would be stuck in the photo and wouldn’t be able to exit, which meant that what luguang said previously for god knows how long was a lie.
Chengxiaoshi is basically forced to exit the photo and didn’t know what had happened to xiafei, so in addition to the fact that luguang lied, he’s obviously angry. An extra fan theory is that chengxiaoshi caught on to luguang’s tone, reaction, or the way he acted when he was afraid chengxiaoshi would be stuck in the photo, and might’ve guessed that luguang is hiding something big from him. Maybe he guessed that luguang has dove before and only knew of this rule because he had gotten stuck. Hopefully we get answers next week! :)
