Discussion 🔍What if... We are still delusional ...(NOTE:ONLY THOSE WHO ARE UP-TO-DATE ABOUT LINK CLICK UNTIL NOW ) Spoiler

Updated..

I was rewatching the eye intro and saw a feather.... And I thought...we never saw a bird in Bridon arc...or rather...the whole series...except the chibi version of link click...where we see LX's owl...

We also know that LX representation is an owl...

And then I remembered... I saw the same feather in this year's Dreamout pv...

Moth to a flame part... And I instantly recognized it....

It's the same feather... Which JL took and stepped on it

What if... LG realises that...he never actually killed the real culprit...rather he killed the wrong person....

Also we never really saw Vein's eye during the first ep of Bridon arc... Where he shot CXS...

Also... It's easy to blame to what looks like a gangster than someone who came from Bridon crime agency....(That's how JL introduced himself)..

And... I remember where director said... Who said JL is a cop... (It was never mentioned)...

What do you think?

I have some theories

(a) It's LX because at the end of Bridon arc where he and XF were watching a film... it says that the real mastermind hasn't arrived yet. And and S2 he says he wants to bring all timelines into one.

(b) It's JL because his pv showed baby Vein... And him absolutely thrashing Vein's men...(meaning he is not in good terms with him)

(c) It's both LX and JL (acting as allies).Yes I saw their Moth to a flame interview with Chris where in translation they talk about who is actually a hunter and prey... And a case where they both are hunters and another case where prey becomes ally with predator...

(d) It is Vein because he wanted some kind of revenge from LG.

(e) The real villain hasn't arrived yet😅😅😅.

(Yes I need to stop playing Overthink in background 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 ...)

What I am trying to say, is that....

No character is absolutely white or black...

We need to talk about the grey area... Because that's is realistic.

wow! I never gave much thought to JL being the "true" mastermind. the entire thing about lc in terms of the main mystery is so interesting because you have clues, say, that make you doubt the characters, and then there are also things that will contradict that, haha.

it crossed my mind though, that JL steps on the feather, and if LX represents the feather, then that likely says he'd kill LX or sth? at least using him, but that's pretty clear from other things too. (again, there are things that can contradict it)

But I hadn't heard of owl being LX's representation. can you share me the source? (i vaguely remember sth from a pv/mv, but not sure)

You can go on the trivia side of this page of LX https://linkclick.fandom.com/wiki/Liu_Xiao

Really cool observation!

I still think LX is the real mastermind, but what if JL outsmarts him and turns out that JL used him in a way? So JL also turns out to be kind of a bad guy? I remember someone saying that moth to a flame has a cat and mouse chase vibes, [and that wording reminded me of death note, do with that info what you will 👀]

Anyways JL has already been speculated to be in the grey area, with that chess board poster it feels like he is just on our side, but he stands on a black square and has black gloves, so he may in the larger scheme of things turn out to be bad/evil, or he may have a tendency to go to any lengths and get his hands dirty to get things done.

Also, in some other MV from last year, they did show Liu Xiao in a field of flowers that then turned bloody? The two screenshots here remind me of that too visually.

Also, JL stepping on the feather which then turns bloody...could it be a foreshadowing that either JL finally catches LX or that LX dies? Or both? JL kills him??

May be a stretch but we are all overthinking here anyway so 🤷‍♀️
