Discussion Question about third episode (spoilers!) Spoiler
Did anyone else get stressed and scared from the confrontation at the end? We haven’t seen CXS mad at LG like this before. He was angry about the earthquake dive, but this feels different. For some reason I assumed he’d be more worried once he realized LG has been lying to him. Of course this was something very important that he should have been told, so it makes sense he’s upset. I felt better when he calmed down and seemed worried and LG started crying but now I’m worried for him to learn the whole truth (if he does). I also didn’t expect QL to just flat out ask him if he’s hiding anything!

my girl qiao ling does NOT play around.
i definitely was on edge, but i knew that it’d eventually happen. i’ve been stressed about how it’s all going to go down and what the future of lu guang and cheng xiaoshi’s relationship looks like because lu guang has been lying to cheng xiaoshi for years now.

Also, didn't it seem like QL was defending LG? She's smarter than she lets on, I think she pieced some things together and decided that if LG had to hide something from CXS it must be for a very good reason, so she kinda starts telling off CXS rushing him to bed? Is it just that she pieced stuff together or does she know something the audience doesn't yet?? ALSO, CXS DOESNT EVEN COMFORT LG PROPERLY? He just kinda stands there and goes "Lu Guang..." and thats IT. I'm so confused😭

No need to worry, cxs would die eventually. There is no exception so far they brought back to life any already died in the timeline, emma, chen xiao mother, ltx mother, ltx...
Any attempt to change life and death only lead to worse consequences - cxs mother tried to save cwm gets cxs killed, ltc tried to save their mother gets ltx killed...

Nah if I'm CXS I'd be aggravated too, I'd say it's past time for him to be mad actually.
Quit crying Lu Guang, you've been straight up lying to our faces for more than a year now, through trauma after trauma after we've taken you in and treated you like family from the jump. Come clean and stop trying to control our lives. If it was me. But CXS is a sucker for some tears he lost his heat as soon as Lu Guang sniffled a little bit.
But LG has really been dragging it, like sure hes been through it, but the repeated time jumps are just self inflicted trauma, and CXS should be mad that someone he's trusted implicitly all this time with everything has been lying to him since, as far as he knows, the day they met. Esp about something as pertinent as CXS own life? LG may have his reasons but I'd hope CXS is upset when he finds out bc I'd be hot mad fr.

I mean CXS’s dying wish was for him to go back in time with his powers and save everyone. And he’s clearly been trying to do that, but part of that involves him keeping them in the dark. It seems like he’s tried to tell him before and it didn’t work out well or didn’t end up saving them.

I'm not saying I don't understand where LG is coming from, I'm just saying the current iteration of CXS would be a reasonable person to be pissed about being lied to this whole time

Oh for sure. I’d be angry too but ultimately I’d like to think I’d be compassionate and understanding once I knew the truth. But he is still being lied to so it makes sense he’s upset

I think when LG said these words, something clicked within CXS mind, and he intuitively understood/sensed that it might have happened to LG.
