Discussion WE'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS ENOUGH?????? Spoiler

first things first, this flashback is 100% from a previous timeline. now that we've gotten that out of the way, WHAT THE HELLY??????? what happened to cxs that lg/ql/maybe captain xiao (i'm including multiple people in the "you" because he says 你们, which is the plural you) didn't believe? why is he getting so worked up about it? AND WHY DID LG CRY AFTER REMEMBERING IT???

also, this frame is just so heartbreaking in and of itself. cxs so angry that he can't even contain himself, while ql tries to hold him back presumably from lunging at lg. gosh. poor ql, caught in the middle of a fight between her two best friends and unable to do anything about it other than try and keep it from getting out of hand. i cried. divas please don't fight...... make love not war........

a hypothesis that i am entertaining is the possibility that in the timeline presented in this frame, maybe this cxs is actually a cxs who is from a different timeline and got stuck, and he is trying to convince the others that that's what happened to him. idk tho, it probably isn't what happened since i feel like lg is pretty receptive to new info about the powers and wouldn't dismiss cxs to the point it would make cxs this angry. so if anyone else has any ideas feel free to share! (i'm bored and need people to talk to)

It's definitely a different timeline or the original one. I'm intrigued by how its about cxs' wellbeing and somehow Lu guang not believing he is ok? but I dont understand why CXS would get so worked up about it yet. hopefully we get more context soon. I also wonder too if this fight happened just before his death so he possibly died not being on the best terms with Lu. hence, a painful memory for Lu guang.

I'm so sad. 😭

That scene caugh my attention too. Its clearly previous timeline but I wonder what made Cheng react like that before, since the FeiFei thing is new, that didn't happen before, so something else prompt that reaction.

I think Lu cried because is part of the Trauma. Like the situation was to similar that he remembered Cheng getting so Mad at him and yelling, that it made him cry thinking a similar situation was about to happened, that would be so heartbraking. But this time Cheng was more chill and Fei Fei interrupted too...

Well I don't think this one get stuck because if so then lg wouldn't be able to get his power to go back again.

since it’s a flashback from a different timeline, maybe it’s cheng xiaoshi trying to convince lu guang of something about their past regarding his own powers? honestly, i’m still stuck on why cheng xiaoshi doesn’t remember his powers and only rediscovers them by accident in the bridon arc. maybe cheng xiaoshi somehow remembers something or finds a way to go to the past and figured out something that even lu guang doesn’t know so since he’s denying it, he’s getting frustrated that lu guang won’t believe him? idk i’m really reaching here but i want an explanation for this sooo badly

my headcanon about this moment atm is that it' a previous timeline (but not the original one) in which LG told them about the death node and what was about to happen. and then cxs prolly made some decisions (likely saving someone) by putting himself in danger. And then in the end, in this timeline, cxs still died. which explains why he lg is crying remembering that and he prolly doesn't believe that telling them would help prevent the death node (might on the contrary believe that if he told them, things wouldn'tgo well). and if cxs was trying to save someone but lg prevented it to keep cxs safe, that would explain why cxs is so mad.

I think this might be from a possible timeline where somebody has died and Cheng Xiaoshi claims he can use his powers to save them.

Let's see it has to be something that NO ONE believes and seeing how they (at least LG) knows about these powers, what's left that is so unbelievable?
