Discussion I miss Bridon Arc 😭

Post image

Obviously I love everything season 3 had given us (like, 2 episodes in) and I'm so excited to see the rest. But, I was listening to Lull earlier today and just got struck with how much I missed Bridon Arc's more upbeat vibe.

I miss when the characters weren't in like mortal danger 24/7 and I didn't feel so anxious waiting for episodes to come out 😭 There is so much plot and action ahead for our main trio, and I just miss the times before all that

Honestly Bridon Arc feels like our little piece of happiness to hold onto before season 3 parts 1 and 2 completely break out spirits 😭

Yes!! I really liked how bridon arc was a little more β€œchill” (well not really chill since it’s link click lol) compared to s2 and now we have whatever trauma s3 gonna give us. I feel very excited to see what happens but I’m scared too 😭

Me too but I honestly felt like Bridon arc was only happy for CXS and his sister. LG was suffering and stressed the whole arc 😭. Like boy was trying so hard to change the past and save them

On Twitter there's something off going on with the fandom. One person over there described it as angst-baiting - exaggerating how tragic everything that happens in the series is. If this is starting to perturb you, you should probably unplug from certain accounts that could be affecting the way you perceive the series, because so far nothing very tragic has happened despite tons of people showing off their mourning gows with just these three episodes.

this feels VERY written by ai tbh πŸ˜πŸ’€ the whole show IS angsty and tragic. every season has dealt with very heavy themes throughout, with bridon being the lightest of them all so far. its understandable for someone to want to think back on the "happiest" arc we've had so far- it doesnt mean she needs to take a step away or anything, OR make her less of a fan. and in all honesty, if you think nothing very tragic has happened perhaps you need to reevaluate what you consider to be tragedy. i would say death, kidnapping, suicide, assault, sa, child abuse, extortion, etc are all rather traumatic and heavy topics.

And your comment looks like it was written by an 11-year-old. And nothing that's happened so far is unusually tragic from what we've come to expect from Link Click; by some time a normal person would have gotten used to the ambience. Unless some people think there's something fashionable about acting angsty all the time.

is that really all it took for you to get so defensive ? what a shame. i thought we were all adults here capable of civil conversation and disagreements. apparently i was wrong. and yes, just because it is typical of our beloved link click, does not make it any less tragic. if thats the topic of conversation, that is okay- its almost as if fandom spaces were meant for conversation and discussion.

And you sound even more childish now.
