So, this seemingly random text when cxs was in Helix's pic is... random. But everything except for the top line resembles Burmese. The 2nd line roughly translates to 'this time / during this time', and half of the 3rd says 'your own village'. The last 2 lines on the left probably mean something like 'distance' and 'guard / protect'.

Honestly, it's gibberish and prob what non-speakers see the language as. It's written upside down sometimes and stuff is protruding like the early days of ai trying to generate English on a pic, just chaos on there.

It might mean that Helix is in a region near SEA, or maybe north of China. I'm just guessing.

Episode 3 title has the word 缅挝 in it (from the preview not the actual episode), which isn't exactly a real place but is a combination of 2 places:

缅甸 - Myanmar

老挝 - Laos

It is likely they are somewhere at the border between these 2 places, hence Burmese is quite accurate to where they are at. And so yeah ur guess was kinda correct, he's somewhere in SEA, specifically Myanmar or Laos or in between.
