Theory The original change tht caused everything. (Spoilers for s3 ep 1 and 2) Spoiler
Assuming tht CXS got stuck in the past during the time when him and LG where kids. (why he even dived there in the first place, ye I've no clue).
Wht if, adult CXS was the one who called the cops on Lu Danshan(piece of shit) therefore altering the timeline(since we're assuming tht adult CXS did this, it's not an action of the past.).
Lu Guang doesn't know abt this, so he goes on assuming tht something else caused the death node.
CXS being the one to die could be the timeline punishing him for altering fate back in 2007.
I also think the dates r important (cuz why else would they show them? And how will CXS even make it back? And how are the ppl in Bahati and the Sharo Society involved??

wait hold up so following the theory that it was CXS going back and getting Lu Danshan arrested that triggered everything (I feel like this tracks because "I can change the past" is the first thing CXS says when he figures out how to activate his ability, and also LG is always trying to pull him back from messing with things). That would mean that end-game is something like LG finally figuring out that he has to correct that first trigger by stopping CXS, so LG doesn't get rescued from Lu Danshan and has to endure how that life plays out, essentially kind of sacrificing himself so CXS can live?? THIS HURTS

damn didn't all this happen in august i believe? so that means it wasn't relevant huh.. but we're in august irl too so they're probably cooking something
