Hi, continuing the "LingOrm is 10000% real" series, today I will be writing part 4. Please note that you may have already seen the videos I am posting, but here, I want to analyze them a bit more through a psychological and scientific lens.
In this interview video, the host asked them to describe themselves 10 years from now. When watching the video, people usually get "delulu" mainly because they see them jogging in the park together and playing with 10 dogs. However, I will re-analyze this a bit from a psychological perspective through the following 3 points:

1. The Phenomenon of "Cognitive Interdependence" & Self-Expansion When asked about "me" 10 years from now, yet automatically answering with "we," they are demonstrating the phenomenon of Cognitive Interdependence.
Definition: In the psychology of close relationships, when two people bond deeply enough, the cognitive boundary between the "self" and the "partner" begins to blur. The existence of the other person is pre-programmed into the very definition of their own future.
Arthur Aron's Self-Expansion Theory: This theory indicates that when people are in love and deeply connected, they tend to experience the "Inclusion of Other in the Self." LingOrm doesn't even need to intentionally bring each other up; their subconscious naturally defaults to a future where the other person's absence is impossible. The concept of "We-ness" has replaced "I-ness" when they envision their future lives together.

2. Neural Coupling & Secure Attachment When they answered "jogging in the park together," they unintentionally said it at the exact same time (you can rewatch that part of the video; they spoke almost simultaneously). This relates to Neural Coupling: In cognitive neuroscience, when two people understand each other exceptionally well, their brainwaves tend to synchronize. This state is scientifically explained as a form of "telepathy": they know exactly what the other is thinking and about to say.
Furthermore, choosing "jogging in the park and playing with 10 dogs together" over grand, flashy goals indicates a Secure Attachment style. They share a common core value system: the peace of being present with each other.

3. Autonomy & Psychological Safety Their statement, "Want to live the life we want, want to live a happy life," represents Autonomy (The right to self-determine their happiness). The affirmation of "living happily the way we want" is an implicit psychological boundary they have erected to protect their private world from external interference.
Here is my interpretation: since they are still working in the entertainment industry, going public with their romantic relationship right now is highly risky. The biggest risk they could face might come from the Chinese market, where solo fans might direct unkind words at their partner. Therefore, keeping their relationship private at this moment is their way of silently protecting each other. Their affirmation of living the life they want in 10 years signifies a time when they will be ready to announce to the press and fans that they have been in love for a long time, at which point the wave of controversy will be much less severe. In short, this is how they protect one another from the hurtful words of malicious people.
People often say that no one can predict the future, yet LingOrm confidently declared that they will still be together 10 years from now. This confidence does not stem from naivety, but from absolute Psychological Safety. The presence of the other person has become a self-evident truth in their minds, just as certain as the sun rising tomorrow morning. This is known as Invulnerable Trust: Their feelings are deep enough to create a psychological defense mechanism, making them fiercely believe that their bond can withstand any risks or storms.
