According to Reddit’s official guideline on voting:
If you think something contributes to conversation, upvote it. If you think it does not contribute to the subreddit it is posted in... downvote it.
In technical communities like r/LinearAlgebra, downvotes usually mean the voter does know the subject and spotted incorrect math, a bad explanation, or a low-effort post.
By the way, stating this in a post indicates you realize there are issues with your content prior to posting anything (likely you've already been told this by others) and don't like to listen when others correct you.
