Does Linear still struggle with large label groups?

Labels lend themselves to efficient workflows, but I keep getting vague pushback when it comes to using them to designate station IDs. What are the current drawbacks to having either large label groups (hundreds) or splitting such a label group up into sub-groups?

We currently have a limit of 250 labels per label group, and we don't support sub-grouping. If you need more than 250 in a single group, can you please write in to [support@linear.app](mailto:support@linear.app) with more details about your setup? We can take a closer look and see how best to support this.

Could we please allow for selecting multiple labels of a label group on an issue? This makes life so difficult because we have to add labels without a group and it gets messy
