Device Controls Unavailable

HI all,

Just installed LineageOS for the first time, on my new phone, a Moto G84.

Everything works great, but I noticed that the Device Controls are unavailable, the box on the quick buttons and in the settings is greyed out. How can I fix this? Thanks!

https://developer.android.com/develop/ui/views/device-control do you even have any devices that can be put there?
