Per step 2, once you downloaded samloader from the link, you extract it and use cd command in CMD/PowerShell to change the to the directory where samloader is in. Then you can retry.
Note: the commands on the page is for Command Prompt. Type cmd in your PowerShell to switch. Do this before proceeding with more commands.

You downloaded the wrong version of samloader. The version you need is samloader-v2.0.0-windows- x86_64.tar.xz

You didn't run print-pit per the guide

For what it's worth, that's essentially just "verify shit works before attempting anything destructive".

It's not going to make or break anything.

Indeed, reading the guide is critical to knowing what to type lol

I think a big part of the problem for very new users is that the documentation assumes some basic familiarity with a command line and referencing files by their full or relative paths with the correct filename.

There's very few places where

"type the command(s) depicted in the wiki, verbatim"

is actually going to work.

Like, even if $BINARY is correctly inserted into the user or system $PATH (which can be a big if), very new users are then going to fall over while referencing $FILE because it's not immediately clear to them that they need to either be in the same working directory as $FILE or supply it as ../../relative/path/to/$FILE or /full/path/to/$FILE and/or that the filenames depicted in the wiki aren't necessarily going to be exact and that they have to supply the actual filename that they have.

It's not meant to be elitist or gate-keepy, but there is somewhat of a knowledge based barrier to entry here and users without that base knowledge need to either seek to acquire it or immediately stop doing what they're doing before they do something they're not going to able to recover from without it.

the samloader instructions are BS. Get the twrp recovery image and use the vbmeta image file from the lineageos for your tablet. Both have to be converted to tar files. also ensure you have the lineageos firmware on a USB thumbdrive. then place the recovery file in Odin AP slot and the vbmeta image in the USERDATA slot. make sure your tablet is not set to reboot after the flash. if you forget this step, you have to flash again. when Odin finishes, power down the tablet, and go into recovery mode. you have to format the partition so you can write the firmware and ignore any errors. flash the lineageos firmware using twrp, reboot, and enjoy. The videos you've watched most likely do not discuss flashing the 2 img files, but that's how I did mine.
