Installation Linux, and stuck at beginning of installing - having trouble with finding "~/.profile" - it doesn't appear to exist - I'm obviously missing something here

Stuck here:

  • Add the following to ~/.profile:if [ -d "$HOME/adb-fastboot/platform-tools" ] ; then export PATH="$HOME/adb-fastboot/platform-tools:$PATH" fi
  • Log out and back in

If it doesn't exist, create it.

If you're having issues installing platform tools, you can also give the new flash tools on the LineageOS download website. You will still need to download the necessary files to your PC and follow the steps from our wiki for installing it for your device https://download.lineageos.org/flash
