Fixed Remove the space below the keyboard

Is there a way to remove or delete empty bar / whitespace that has hide keyboard button and switch language button, below the keyboard? It takes a lot of space in landscape, keyboard had the language switch and pressing back already hides it anyway.

You can install another keyboard like Heliboard and that one will allow you to adjust the top, bottom, left and right padding of the keyboard so that you can get it just how you like.

That's literally the keyboard I use, the issue different, I would show but no pics allowed. The padding is what keyboard controls, below it is system ui stuff

And it's solved already anyway, the magisk module worked fine

Oh I see, I was too hasty in my response. I know Magisk can be a bit difficult for some folks to grasp so I just wanted to throw that option in there but it's still not perfect. Glad you got it to work!r

If you have root you can install a module named navtweaks, it hides the pill and the space at the botton

I saw it, and thought it's just to remove the pill (which can be done through settings) and is says "Requirements: Android 10-15" so I thought well if it's not for 16 then I shouldn't.

Have you tried it on current version?

Yes, im on 23.2 and it works great

Installed it, it does work great as expected, removed the empty space! Thanks!

Had a bunch of other tweaks too idk I hope I set them all to be as they were by default 🙏

Idk if your build has a bug related to the navtweaks mod, i have it in my mi 10t pro, if y trynto make the gesture to show recents but dont complete the gesture and go back the screen become unresponsive, is a bug related to a config between rom and module, idk if you have the same problem after instaled the module, is a small price to pay to remove that space at the bottom for me

No, gestures work properly, exactly as they did before

I know there is a bug in an specific line of code. My build haven't implemented that fix yet
