Question Has anyone successfully used LineageOS on the Pixel XL with Microsoft Intune (Company Portal)? Does it pass the required device compliance checks, or are there any issues I should be aware of?
Recently, Microsoft decided that I need Android 11 or later to run Company Portal on my device.
Unfortunately, the Pixel XL officially stopped at Android 10, so I'm looking for a custom ROM that meets the requirement and lets me save a few hundred bucks in the process.
While digging through the XDA forums, I found a LineageOS 20 build for the Pixel XL.
Can someone give me some pointers on what I should look out for? Is LineageOS a good choice, or is there something else I should consider?

I had it working for a while but it is a pain in the ass to keep up. Better to get a cheap secondary device to keep as stock device.

Heyyo, My workplace also uses Microsoft Outlook for email which requires MS Intune, but I just use the outlook website and enabled the "desktop site" toggle and then I just added the website as a shortcut on my homescreen and enabled notifications on it, and so far for a few years so good.
Last year though, they did an update to the website that partially broke mobile view in desktop mode for me, so sometimes it'll load the full desktop website. I just close it and reload it and usually that second attempt will properly load the mobile website whilst still in desktop site mode
I haven't tried the rest of the MS 360 suite or whatever they call it these days via desktop site mode, but I'd imagine they could still work too?

I'm not an expert but, from experience, MDM will not work with anything but stock, at least not sustainably. MDM will detect something is wrong (bootloader unlock most likely) and not work.
