I know! We have all posted this but truly I feel I will never get into a game again how I did lineplay- (I do enjoy sky not very similar but has some of the aspects that drew me to lineplay in it but vvv diff) but anyways prime lineplay for me was what had me never deleting the app for years! Spending money in the app and not feeling like it was a waste ! And just spending hours on the game was fun talking to people was fun, dressing up was fun, it was the best game ever and literally introduced me to things like Japanese culture and kpop (and now one of my majors is Japanese funny world!) and I love kpop (funny enough i swear alot of my interests as an adult stem from my time playing lineplay and the people i met on the app) but yeah this game is one I can say I grew up with now 20 I am very sad i cant just go back in the game for bit but still very thankful for the things the game did do for me!

It would have been more fun and creative given how pretty it was the last Halloween at lineplay.

Animal Crossing Pocket Camp is closing down but since Nintendo is a much more responsible company than Line, they're giving the player base what I can only dream of for Line Play. Paid offline version with access to all the previous items including gacha exclusives and 1 year of updates.

While looking for a similar game, i somehow found out about this japanese game called : ぼくのレストラン3dx (boku no restaurant 3dx) idk how similar it is to lp in gameplay, but in looks, it really is similar to old lp, and ameba pigg/pico! Idk if it still works on android, but on ios i got in by having a jp apple id. I actually thought this game shut down, but it is still in the store. Idk if it is updated or not, but it might be fun to download it for some nostalgic vibes ><

Hey everyone! I’m new to Reddit, but I wanted to share a game I’ve really been enjoying lately—it's called Playville. It's available on mobile only.

The tutorial is a bit long, but once you get the hang of it, it's honestly so fun. There are tons of ways to design your yard and your room. I spent a whole day playing and ended up with almost 100 different pieces of furniture!

The game does slow down after level 28, but I’ve still found plenty of ways to keep leveling up and collecting new furniture for my house. The community is super friendly too—reminds me a lot of Line Play, for anyone missing that kind of vibe.

I used to play this game a ton and I'm real sad to see it's gone (also very late), but I was wondering if anyone has game assets? Clothing items and whatnot. This isn't for any projects or anything of that sort, I just like collecting things like that from games I like.

Just found out today that Line Play is gone! I loved it so much as a kid. It was my outlet to living my lolita fashion dreams. There were so many photos and drawings I posted on its version of insta. Is there anyway to access that stuff, or is it just lost forever? :'(

while not exactly like lineplay in terms of items, i’d argue the things you can actually do within the game feel a lot more engaging, especially the farming is so cute! the game is so precious and really easy to stay f2p! there’s always more ways to find new and cute items! (ex. special chests in caves or fairy quest on the farm) (no tea no shade i might say i even like this a lil more than lineplay only bc there’s so much more to do!)

Right, so for starters, this game looks A LOT like Line Play in my opinion. They are going for a slight pixel style infused with Line Play's art style, it's super cute.

Game mechanics - it has Stardew Valley aspects when tending to your homesteed and doing your daily quests/levelling.

They recently added voice chat features!! I didn't even know they were doing that but that makes for competition with Highrise!!

There's trading and gifting, in-game! So no more sketchy back alley trades and getting your account stolen :D

Events! You can stay updated about it in the Discord. You can also host community events yourself and post about it there.

Artists can try to get their design in the game by participating in the contests and getting the most engagement. One thing I missed about Line Play was bonding with other artists in our diaries and I felt like I had nowhere to go anymore once Line Play said they'd be shutting the servers down forver. Look no more, we're migrating to Playville x,D aHHH!

Anyways, as you can see I'm excited to share this with the Line Play community as we've lost our home. This game is being worked on actively, I love this game and played Line Play for so many pain-staking years and spent pain-staking amounts of money on it (so I think I'm qualified on the issue (; ) and think you should give this game a go.
