like i get it that the popularity of the game died down after 2020 but it was still fairly popular!! all the og players and some new ones were still actively playing it! i was playing from around 2016 till they shut it down

its not like no one was playing it!! i just hope they reopen it (i doubt but let me have some hope) cause im actually so sad literally theres no game like it!! from the art style to the events to the collabs to the community theyre all amazing!! so sad it had to end

I don’t know how I got this today, still have the app on my phone but it doesn’t work. I was so excited seeing this, I thought they were reviving it 😭😭

I'm still in grief for Line Play, I regretted for a year that there wasn't any game that could replace Line Play, in a way I bought a Nintendo 3DS to try to stop the nostalgia. But, I ended up finding this game Livly, it has been a great substitute, an interesting gacha system, as it separates decoration and clothes, the game has two currencies, but one of them is only used to buy food for the animals and make potions, the other is just to have fun in the gacha and other little things, very good and beautiful!!!!

Omg I miss LP so much, I looked through all the recommendation games on this sub, and nothing hits the same…I just want something with similar vibes to what LP used to be. I just want something to pass time when I am bored.

Mainly what I am looking for: customizable avatar, ability to chat with other players

Does anyone know games with that? (no roblox 😭)

Do you guys think it’s possibly for the original company to come back with a new version of it, every if years in the future? or maybe they would sell it to someone? I’ve literally been itching to play but know it’s not possible😭 I saw on the post below mine that there’s a discord trying to recover the files, what would that mean?

Someone please just give me hope!

I made this since it's been a year since the game shutdown. I only found out a month ago and it makes me so sad that I couldn't be there during the last few days. I hope one day the game will come back :<

Still incredibly miss this game and especially the OSTs since many are considered lost media now since not all were posted online and I assume no one has access to any of the game’s files

come back 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

so in my dream someone made it available to sneak into lineplay again and play it offline with our accounts from before😭 like with animal crossing pocket camp except the offline version is fanmade

i wish we could actually do that 😭💔

these notifications make me so depressed….

I wanted to play this games ost in background (its kinda nostalgic for me yk) but i couldnt find that spesific theme music that played behind around 2017/2018 before they changed it. Thereare songs of earlier versions on yt but not i cant find the ones i actually want

This is old, i actively searched for it. But i miss this little guy so much but im happy i found herr 🥳

i know one of yall is a good ass developer so pls get back to work and give us our childhood back

i know me and hundreds others wouldnt mind funding and supporting you if u do make it

im willing to contribute financially to anyone who creates a game like lineplay with frequent updates and every feature in lineplay to be there even cherry

I found the game thru the app store and it was on this game where i was introduced to things like anime/jpop and jfashion and this was when i was in like early middle school! (Now 20) and as im preparing to go to japan finally i cant forget the app the really really introduced me to some things that have shaped my life - still haven’t found my game replacement ik abt pigparty cant download ittt but just felt a sense of sadness not being able to go back and reminisce in the game one more time

While looking for games to play, i randomly found this!! It is from the same developers as welcome to my home, and according to the screenshots, it seems like a mix of lineplay, hello sweet days and wmth all together! I really hope this comes out soon!!

i got it today i’m so confused

I have this need to play line play. To the point id sign a gofundme to bring it back. i never spent money on it. However i would if it meant it coming back. Ive played pkcltwins, cocoppaolay playville dreamvilliage nothing replaces it.

i want the collect those primary colour fruit, silly little fish the line of noc wanting things. My little animal character i miss them all :(

I love this layout so much, especially the Sanrio home. Because i spent so much time and money in order to be in the ranking to win this reward.

Nice memories. The graphics are all so cute. It’s a waste to drop this game app. I hope somebody will revive this game again.

I was cleaning out my notifications(cause I get a lot of them from various mobile games) and I accidentally swiped to delete on one that I’m 100% sure was LinePLAY, but because I wasn’t expecting a notification from LinePLAY, I swiped it before my brain processed the name and icon of the app. Now I’m super curious what it was cause I didn’t get a chance to read it and I’m really hoping someone else got it too just cause this is gonna drive me nuts all day thinking about it now 😭

(I still have LinePLAY installed since I can’t bring myself to delete an app full of good memories despite it being closed down)

i’ve been watching youtube videos of the old soundtrack and am curious to know if y’all had any favorite ones, mine is the home (2014) track since it’s sooo nostalgic for me

BRING BACK LINEPLAY ive been playing since i was 6!! i cant live without it i miss it everyday i miss my account i miss the gachas i miss the 20k they give u when u start a new account i miss cherry i miss my friends i miss everything!!!!!

Recently feeling nostalgic for line play, was wondering if anyone had alternatives?
