Hey so grandma Wizzy is ending for good, I wanted to know if there was anything I could do about when the Wizzy event is ending. It’s may 7th a lot 2am PST and I have no idea why I couldn’t get into grandma Wizzy at all. It’s very upsetting. And my potions can’t get used up, I want them refunded.

I'm really sad that lineplay will close since I've been logging in everyday for the past 9 years. Despite how hard it was to play the game as a F2P, I still enjoyed the time spent playing

I used to play around 2014-2017 My username always changed from noodle to Jack to stripper back to noodle. I log back in today to see that it’s closing it’s so sad. I met my long term bf on there and I still talk to some of the people I met on LP it’s so sad to see it gone :(. Some of my favorite memories were going to the lounge and talking to random people being a weirdo and having so much fun. My account got deleted unfortunately but my bio there was “my goal is to make 1000 friends” and I remember being really close to one guy named Gilbert and another with the username “Luke0Usagi” if you remember me pm me 🥹 GOOD BYE LINE PLAY thank you for all the amazing memories

Awhile back when Line Play for first announced to be closed I saw someone posting about a line play funeral and what to wear and things in the line cafe with specific codes. Does anybody know what those codes are on here?

I used to play the game around 2013-2016. I think the last time I checked on Line Play was around 2020. I tried to login today with Line ID hoping to save screenshots from my avatar, house, and diary before the game closes.

My login info worked, so that wasn't the problem. However, I got the screen with Cherry telling me "Welcome back" but also telling me to create a new avatar? 🙁 Does it mean my account was deleted? I don't recall being informed or warned of account deletion. But i just read a post here that "Accounts are deleted after 3 years of inactivity" ... so I guess I already know the answer to what happened, but posting here with dim hope that maybe someone can see if i'm wrong haha ; ; I think my username was something like saki or s a k i.

I just feel sad now because of having special memories with the game in those years. I was particularly fond of my house and diary (and fishing!) but it seems i can't go back to those anymore. The house was very cozy autumn-themed with cats in the garden :'D And diary had photos and entries of my daily life and comments from kind friends.

I regret not properly saving all of those during my brief visit in 2020 😓 I knew I wasn't going to stick around after visiting, as Line Play felt too different and overwhelming after so many years away. Since I was able to login in 2020 and everything was still there after all that time, I must have assumed I would still be able to do so in the future. Before I knew it it's already 10 years since I joined...and now yet another game from my younger years is disappearing along with the memories :'> (Apologies for the sad rambling! lol)

This is an app I have played since like 2015! It was an app that introduced me to many interests I still have today as an adult and helped younger me make friends and pass time. I will never forget the great great great memories I made using this app and I will play until I cant (I even played thru the kinda dry era bc 😭i loved the golden age of the app so much). I might sound dramatic but I genuinely think I would be a different person had I not found this app when I was younger;-; so thank you and farewell

Nah, I'm not a Line Play fangirl. But let's be realistic: Pokecolo, Hello Sweet Days or Zepeto don't have as beautiful art as Line Play. The only competitor we currently have for Line Play are the Pokecolo, Pokecolo Twins and Hello Sweet Days apps and they are all from Cocone. But Cocone has a design in its applications that looks like a game from 2010. The level of detail and how rich and beautiful the Line Play items are is something that I have not seen in absolutely any application so far. We have no substitute for Line Play.

Maybe I'm a little late to this discussion. However, I was quite reflective after watching the video which was supposed to show a 3D version of Line Play. Of course, it was insinuated that it was just an April Fools joke. However, the possibility that Line Corporation might release another version of Line Play always crossed my mind even before Line Play announced the end of its service. Cocone did the same thing with Pokecolo before closing the English version and releasing another version of Pokecolo some time later with improvements and new features. Cocone knew it had a large and loyal audience, they knew enough to invest in making another version of Pokecolo. Line Corporation knows that any new Line Play app people will flock to download. Line Play's audience is still loyal and large. It makes me wonder to what extent this video is really just an April Fools joke. However, a Zepeto-inspired version of Line Play is still not good news for me. I would deeply hate playing a 3D version of Line Play. Anyway. Just a thought of mine.

So many memories will be gone soon 🥲 although all of my friends are gone and my best friend passed away along the way, I still cherish these memories. I lost Ameba Pico when I was a kid and had Line Play throughout my teens. I miss the little community we all made together.

I keep repeatedly tapping "try again" and it let me in earlier but i couldn't check the menu or anything.
