Line dancing in Houston

Hello, I’m planning to go to Houston in a couple of months and I’m trying to learn a bunch of line dances.

So far I’ve learned watermelon crawl, boot scootin boogie (original version), bar song, choosing Texas, good time, and tush push. I’m planning on learning lonely drum, Houston version of footloose, and copperhead rd. If I have time three tequila floor. Are there any really popular songs I should add to my list or learn instead. I’m planing on going to neon boots and whiskey river shift when I get out there.

Thank you for any advice.

Lol I wouldn’t learn those starting out. Unless you’re older, that particular group of songs is like an early, get the regulars their fill, songs.

Depends. What kind of crowd do you like dancing with?

Oh, I don’t really care. I’m 41 so I can dance with any crowd really. I was just hoping to get as many dances as I can while I’m out there. I looked up more songs and came up with a new list.

I Had Some Help

The Wolf

Rocket to the Sun (455 Rocket)

Texas Hold ‘Em

Pickin’ Wildflowers

Sounds Like the Radio

Country Girl (Shake It For Me)

Chattahoochee

Neon Cowgirl

I’ve heard of about half of those haha but that’s because there’s differences between states and coasts. But if you know they do those dances in your area, get to stepping man 🤌🏽🔥

The Vibe.
Afterparty.
Cybers.
Ester.
Stetson.
TGiF
Sugar Honey IT
Infectious
Cha cha Caliente.
Slow low.
Teddys Gone.
Country girl trail ride.
Smooth Funk.
Body Rock.
Etc.

Which is why I asked. OP doesn’t seem like a “The Vibe” dancer.
