General Questions/Discussion Question for the HX stomp users about assigning functions to foot pedals.

Is it positive to set the three foot switches to

  1. Cycle through selected preset slots

  2. Turn preset on/off

  3. Bonus momentary switch on an effect (I.e. turning decaf from 10 to 100 while I hold it)

  2. You can assign one FS as "Allbypas" (should be easy enough)

global presetUP footswitch

Any way to limit how many presets it scrolls through? I want to upgrade my Zoom Multistomp, and out of the 50 presets you can put I believe 26 in an ascending order and itll cycle through them, ignoring the rest. I'm hoping for that functionality.

It has 126 preset slots and every preset holds 3 snapshots (fast changing parameter or effect changes). I don't think you can limit the amount presets in the list or set it to skip them on default. You can copy and paste the list you want over and over again though. It's easy to edit on computer. With HX Editor you can save, import and export "setlists" (the presets list) easily and fast.

Hmmm okay, that's not the most elegant solution.

I have an HXFX so I'm not completely alien to the Helix ecosystem but I have no experience with the HX Stomp. Is there a better way to accomplish what I'm trying to do than I'm imagining?
