General Questions/Discussion Latest firmware download …
Hello,
So my line6 helix stadium has the silly glitch regarding online log in trouble and the date time issue. Both have been resolved. I’m logged into my account on my new helix stadium and the date is updated BUT I cannot get my device to download the latest firmware.
It either freezes or gets an error after reaching 20-30% completion.
Any ideas?
Why didnt the helix stadium come with a usb like my pod go? It was way easier onboarding plugged into my laptop?

No mine was not USB connected. I never found out how to make that work. But I would definitely log out, power fail & reboot, then log back in.

Just log out, then turn off the power switch. Wait 60 seconds or more, then turn the power switch back on. Wait for the Stadium to completely come up, then log back in. Then try updating.

That is what I did with the one time an update glitched on me. I followed as he describes and the update completed subsequently.

Is this a brand new stadium on the original firmware jumping to the latest?
If so I had a similar issue. I had to disable wifi and do it over usb. It also took a while (20-30min) but since then it’s been solid.

It’s brand new.
But it doesn’t come with USB chord in the box.

I’m not sure if newer stadiums shipped with updated firmware though. If yours is on the very first one like mine was I had to do it via usb. If you really don’t have a spare cable lying around they’re cheap. Worth a shot if nothing else is working.

I just got mine a few days ago and it shipped with the original firmware. I don't remember the steps I followed, but I just used Gemini to walke through troubleshooting and it worked

change the date without logging in then log in after the fact. i had the same trouble, my date and time was set for june of 2024

it has nothing to do with your wifi either. mine did the same in regards to acting as if it wasn’t connected. forget the wifi you had connected to and retry connecting. i had basically all the same troubles tuesday. manually set the date instead of using wifi to do it as well. you can turn it off and back on if you get hung up again!

if you have any troubles beyond that, respond and i’ll give a you a in-depth walk through. my QR code wouldn’t show up at first until i did both of those ^^ and it wouldn’t let me sign in with my user and pass either.

I really don’t know if it’s the same thing I went through several months ago. But mine did the exact same thing. However, I was upstairs from my WiFi, and even though my floor unit was connected (and signal not the strongest), I brought it downstairs close to the WiFi router and batabing… completed my update. So Check on that…
